post 1.
1. Subjective claim people might call “a fact”: it is very cold outside.
2. Objective claim people might call “an opinion”: a college education is necessary to excel in one’s future career.
3. The difference between a claim that is “objective” and “subjective” is that an “objective” claims is true or false depending on the universe, while “subjective” claims depends on whether or not people believe it.
4. Mislabeling these claims could negatively impact the quality of a person’s thinking by allowing other’s perspectives influence one’s own, not allowing the ability to develop one’s own value/opinions. The solution to confusing fact with opinion is researching on the matter.

-A subjective claim that people might call “a fact”
- .PA University has the best nursing program in California.
This is a subjective claim because I believe WCU has the best nursing program in California. However, a student who attends a different nursing program in California with the same curriculum could say the same thing about that program.
-An objective claim that people might call “an opinion.”
- PA University has a 100% passing rate for the NCLEX.
