Description
Watch the video and experience an actual crime investigation as it unfolds, from the moment detectives are called in to work on a case until it is ultimately solved.
This pilot episode of Crime 360: Welcome to Homicide minutely details the investigation into a murder in Richmond, Virginia. The mystery begins on a hot summer day in Richmond, Detective Shane Waite is called to a local apartment complex where there is believed to be a dead body inside the trunk of a car. Waite discovers a bound murder victim stuffed in the trunk of the car. Detective Waite theorizes that the murder victim was killed at another location and transported to the apartment complex. With no witnesses and no original crime scene, the detective has to rely heavily on the forensic evidence gathered from the victim’s body. The only other piece of physical evidence is the victim’s car. Detective Waite has forensic tech Detective Faith Flippo test the vehicle for blood, DNA, and anything else that might help identify the killer. A break in the case occurs when Detective Waite receives a 911 call from a witness who said he heard two gunshots the night of the murder at his apartment complex and saw two men entering the building
