As you begin your transition into professional nursing and move from novice nurse to expert, there are new challenges that await you. Identifying and selecting a professional role transition model from chapter one in your textbook will help you understand the many changes that await you moving forward.
Develop a PowerPoint presentation with speaker notes that depict your transition into the role of the professional nurse. The presentation should be no more than 10 15 slides, include a title page, brief introduction, description of the transition model being used, how the model relates to you/career, indicate your choice for a mentor or source you found helpful. Lastly, describe the support you have/need to ensure your success. Your presentation should conclude with a conclusion and a reference list, using APA 7th edition formatting. C.C. 5.4
Task Description: Each student will make a 20-minute presentation practice improvement facet his/her choice. The student may focus the presentation in any way s/he wishes, but there needs to be a thesis, not just a chronological exposition. The presentation should include appropriate photographs, maps, graphs, and other visual aids for the audience. There should include an one page handout and should invite questions from the audience.
Personal info: I graduated with my ASN Associate In Science in nursing last April, I passed my nclex in agust and i started a residency program with baptist hospital here in miami. In the residency i worked side by side with a preceptor for 16 weeks. Currently, i am donde with the residency and i am working by myself in the emergency department while completing my BSN online.
