offenders lose as a result of criminal convictions. If you were given the final decision on which
rights to restore, identify which rights you would restore automatically, which rights you would
restore via application, and/or which rights you would not restore to offenders after their
sentences have expired. Justify your choices.
If you were a prisoner, which method of release from prison would you prefer–discretionary or
mandatory (automatic)? Why?
