Spring 2023 Intro to Loss Prevention (CJC-151-2901)
Description
Discussion Topic:
The four-step process in critical thinking discussed in this course is not universal. In other words, other sources and opinions may apply more or less steps. However, critical thinking often leads to a decision in taking an action, or an inaction, where the ïrrect!nswer is either not obvious or is nonexistent. Critical thinking is a skill that takes practice to refine. Below is a fun exercise to begin practicing some of the critical thinking skills necessary for this course. Please respond to the following steps:
Step 1: Imagine you live in a world with only 20 words. You can use these 20 words as much as you want, but you cannot use any other words at all. Please list your words from 1 – 20.
Step 2: Write a sentence for each word, explaining why that word was included on your list.
