Description
Social marketing efforts usually focus on a écked social problem We discussed several major social issues that could benefit from the application of social marketing principles and techniques. For each of the social issues, the status could improve if and when we are successful in increasing the adoption of desired related behaviors.
Find a current example of social marketing in your daily environment (i.e., an issue that is being addressed by a community partner. on campus, at work, on television, radio, magazines, newspaper articles, news stories, Internet, etc.) post your example here and explain:
What “wicked social problem” is being addressed?
Whom you think the effort is targeting?
What behavior the effort is promoting?
How difficult is it to change the behavior that causes the problem?
What works well with this creative execution?
