Test Evaluations
Purpose: The purpose of your test evaluations is to familiarize you with the various testing/assessment
tools that have been widely used over the years.
Directions:
1. Identify a test/assessment of interest from the list below.
2. Using the provided test evaluation sample, complete the test evaluation.
Test/Assessment Options:
1. Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale ourth Edition (WAIS-IV)
2. NEO Personality Inventory (NEO PI-R)
3. Woodcock-Johnson III Normative Update (WJ III NU)

Test Evaluation
Purpose: The purpose of your test evaluations is to familiarize you with the various testing/assessment
tools that have been widely used over the years.
Details:
1. All test evaluations must contain an APA style cover page.
2. All test evaluations must be typed and double spaced.
3. All test evaluations must be in size 12 font, Times New Roman.
4. All test evaluations must contain a reference page.
5. All test evaluations must be between 4-6 pages in length (excluding cover page and
reference page).
Requirements:
1. Introduction (1-2 paragraphs)
a. What test did you select?
b. Why did you select this test?
c. Why is this form of testing important to society?
2. History (1 page)
a. Provide a detailed history of the test.
b. Include in your history section, the creator(s) of the test.
c. Also include any cultural norms that contributed to the test (i.e. special education)
3. Implementation (1 page)
a. Provide an in-depth explanation of how the test is administered.
b. What are the results supposed to show?
c. How are the results used to benefit those tested?
4. Critique (2-3 page)
a. Did you come across any critiques of the test? If so, provide a summary.
5. Conclusion (1-2 paragraphs)
a. Do you foresee a continued need for the test in society? If so, tell why.
