Scenario

Maribel is a 38-year-old Latino female recently diagnosed with triple negative Stage III-B breast cancer. Her husband is also 38 years old and is a mechanical engineer. They have been married for three years and have two children aged 2 and 4. Maribel just found out her PET scan is normal except for a left ovary mass that must be seen by a specialist. You are her nurse navigator trying to guide her through the process of starting neo-adjuvant big gun chemotherapy today. Please answer the following questions with regard to Maribel and her new diagnosis.
