There is a clear need for your project as the factors that contribute to whether or not a pregnant person receives dental care or not vary significantly based on demographic, socioeconomic, psychological, behavioral, and perception variabilities (Rocha et al., 2018). I was thrilled to learn about the incredible impact of a midwife-driven oral health initiative that had such a profound impact, especially in the quality metrics like plaque etc. (George et al., 2018).
I was a little bit confused about the quality outcomes you selected. I believe your project is measuring patient knowledge (via survey) pre-intervention (education) and post-intervention. However, throughout your discussion post you mention oral hygiene ïmpliance!nd I wasn sure what you mean by that. If you could help me understand what ïmpliance-eans in terms of this projects success that would be very helpful.
          In terms of evaluating the patientàknowledge, will this be measured by survey score results? Meaning, are the surveys graded? On what type of scale? If so, it would be a nice clean way to determine whether or not the xam3core increased (i.e. more knowledge) or decreased (i.e. less knowledge) after the educational intervention.
