This section of the paper will focus on three scholarly articles that explain the nutritional
principle of nursing. Below is the list of the articles that I intend to use in my research and how I
intend to use them.

The article was published in 2019 by Braun et al. the article will help in my research
since it will assist me in creating individualized treatment regimens after analyzing the patient’s
nutritional status. This is crucial since such information can assist if avoiding complications that
are related to nutritional issues. Assessing the nutritional status of patients is a great way of
offering patients the proper medical intervention.

The article published in 2021 talks about the risk factors and the interventions that affect
the nutritional status of the children affected by chrons disease. Using this article in research will
play a critical role in ensuring that I properly examine the children with Crohnàdisease. The
report will also help me in my research to determine the available interventions offered to
counter the nutritional effects.

The article was written in 2019 and discussed how nurses could determine the

mellitus depending on the (GL) glycemic load. This article will assist me in knowing the type of
research initially conducted and the results. With such information, I can identify the gaps left
out and work on them. The article also offers crucial information about the best methods to avoid
gestational diabetes mellitus.

Introduction
i.
Thesis Statement: There is a global need to raise awareness of chronic kidney
disease, known as kidney failure, its symptoms, and ways to prevent it from
developing.
ii.
Extended Thesis Statement: There is a need to raise awareness of the symptoms and
prevention of chronic kidney disease. Furthermore, there are ways to prevent kidney
failure from occurring. This trend should be stopped to enhance the health and safety
of the incoming generations.
iii.
Hypothesis Statement: If there is a proper way to prevent kidney failure, the health
of both children and adults will improve.
iv.
Research Question: How can prevention be done to control the odds of kidney
failure in various age groups? What are some possible symptoms and causes of
chronic kidney disease? Are they treatable and manageable in most cases? What are
the effects of insufficient blood flow to the kidneys due to uncontrolled hypertension
in patients?
Methodology
Qualitative Research Design; Fact-Based Research (FBR)
– Analysis of credible research materials about kidney failure.
Literature Review
For the past decades, studies have been conducted to learn the various causes and symptoms of
kidney failure. The onset of kidney failure can be traced to the gradual deterioration of renal
function over time. There are two kinds of kidney failure: end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and

chronic kidney disease (CKD) (Lee et al., 2019). Both disorders are detrimental as they affect a
person’s blood pressure causing fatal chronic diseases.
Possible Methods to Create Awareness
– Media Campaigns; social media, digital media
– Patient Education
– School Health Program
Conclusion
Although there is a limited amount of evidence to support the findings, the potential
consequences of kidney failure can be managed. Hence, the negative impact of chronic kidney
disease will not outweigh the advantages of preventing its onset. Patients and parents should
raise awareness with accurate information to implement preventive measures.
