Part 2: Design a Network
Download and open the packet tracer and complete the following tasks.
In packet tracer Set up User Profile with your full name and southeast email address.
You will add missing devices and cable the network to match the topology and configure the two routers
using the VLSM address scheme that you developed in Part 1.
a. Add missing devices and cable the network to match the topology
b. Assign the device name to the routers.
c.
Disable DNS lookup to prevent the routers from attempting to translate incorrectly entered
commands as though they were hostnames.
d. Assign ABcd1234 as the privileged EXEC encrypted password for both routers.
e. Assign cisco as the console password and enable login for the routers.
f.
Assign cisco as the VTY password and enable login for the routers.
g. Encrypt the plaintext passwords for the routers.
h. Create a banner that will warn anyone accessing the device that unauthorized access is
prohibited on both routers.
i.
Assign an IP address and subnet mask to each interface using table 2 that you completed in Part
1. (Note: WAN port on both routers are pre-configured)
j.
Configure an interface description for each interface.
Part 3: Test Connectivity
Ping from PC in Main Campus to PC in River Campus.
Ping from PC in River Campus to PC in Main Campus.
Submit the Packet Tracer file with your Documentation. Use the given format for documentation.
