need someone to write my discussion board (book, “On Monsters” by Stephen T. Asma)
Description
As you read through chapters 12 and 13 of On Monsters, notice the endnotes throughout the chapter. An endnote is a reference, explanation, or comment placed at the end of a book or article (it is similar to a footnote except that footnotes are located at the bottom (or foot!) of the page instead of at the end of the whole text).
For this discussion, find an end note that both interests you and contains reference information. For example, Endnote 31 would be acceptable because it contains citation information: “See Roslynn D. Haynes, From Faust to Strangelove (John Hopkins University Press, 1994), chapter 1″ (p. 305); however, end note 32 would not because it further describes concepts in the chapter but does not provide more research opportunities. Then do a little research and try to find the source listed in the endnote before answering these questions:
Which end note did you select? Why?
What sourced information were you trying to locate?
Did you find the original source? If so, where? Do you have access to it? If not, what do you need to do to access it?
Describe your research process: what was easy to do, and what gave you trouble? How did you problem solve and overcome these difficulties?
What did you learn about the research process and your researching skills?
- How will this knowledge and reflection help you in the upcoming essay?
