Follow the following as a basic guideline:
1. Pick a chapter from the ones already covered that you are comfortable with
2. Present your major areas of interest in your synopsis. Be clear on exactly want inspired

3. State the problem or a particular perspective that you feel needs to be explored further
and why? Thesis Statement must be formulated to guide you and me on exactly what it is
that you are focusing on in the mini-journal chapter-based write-up
4. Incorporate your thoughts and opinions including outside class readings
5. Discuss the pros and cons of this chapter of interest and demonstrate how applicable it
could be if well put into practical use.
6. Incorporate outside readings/research findings that would support your analysis,
discussion, and conclusions more especially with respect to issues related to decision
making at organizational level
7. Apply the ¯ur Legged Stool heory (Planning, Organizing, Leading, and
Controlling) to demonstrate the relevance and usefulness of the research domain/area to
the overall course learning objectives. How does this four-legged stool theory fit into
your chapter of interest? Provide supporting logical examples
8. List at least THREE takeaways from this chapter and demonstrate their relevance to the
course learning objectives. Do not reproduce or repeat what is already known
