This team project is based on incorporating the wellness components we have
studied in class in regards to planning, organizing, and developing an Employee
Wellness Fair in FCBE.
Resources: Guest speaker video recordings in the course, community agencies,
texts, class notes, and articles.

Project requirements
Paper and Wellness Fair Exhibit:
Each team will choose an area of wellness often used by employers in employee
wellness programs such as nutrition, fitness, disease prevention, emotional health,
or other areas. Topics are listed by teams in the Discussion Board area.
Topical areas cannot be duplicated. Exhibit topics must be approved by Dr.
Tuberville.
Assuming your HR group is acting on behalf of its organization (Fogelman College of
Business and Economics), develop an educational wellness exhibit that will help
your employees (the students) understand why wellness is important. Your task is
to help your mployees5nderstand the benefits of a wellness programs and
encourage changes to a healthy lifestyle.

Write the purpose/rationale of your exhibit in a 4-5 page group paper. Use
3-5 outside resources (other than your text). (75 points)

Use headings within your paper to separate, see APA for how to use headings

One team member will submit the paper to the dropbox/assignment in

One team member will submit the Zoom Video Team Presentation to the
Discussion Board.
Writing errors will count, proof carefully. Review the APA websites carefully.
Use the U of M free student Zoom account, with the camera on, with all team
members presenting.
Wellness exhibits (PowerPoint) will be evaluated on:
a. Creativity and originality
b. Value of the recommendations for FCBE students/faculty/staff
c. Research/Trends demonstrated in the paper/exhibit
d. Teamwork apparent in presentationll members involved in the
planning, promoting, and execution of the

? 1-2 outside vendors/resources that will demonstrate a resource to students in
the areas chosen (try to connect with a non-profit in your selected topic area to
get up to date information about how employers are sharing content with
employees, ie The American Heart Association for a heart health topic).
? Eye-catching exhibit/PowerPoint
As an online class, your udience7ill be the other teams who will evaluate the
effectiveness of employee information from your xhibit In on-ground classes, the
students develop actual exhibits.

Presentation on developing an employee wellness fair
Vendors from the local area are also resources based on relevant topics. The
vendors should be interviewed for their participation and they should
complement the teamàwork, not provide the teamàwork.
An evaluation of each teamàexhibit will be conducted by a panel of external
judges. Each team will present their topic to the judges. Each team will also
present their topics to the class as we conclude the fair.
