Diet Presentation NSTRUCTIONS
Students will work in pairs researching a popular diet. They will attempt the diet for 24 hours and present
their findings and share their experiences with the class. Ultimately you need to give the diet a thumbs up
or a thumbs down and provide solid reasons for your decision. Your final decision must be based on
factual information learned in class.
The presentation must follow the following format:
A powerpoint presentation consisting of the following slides:
a. Title of Diet
b. Diet Description
c. Description of your personal dieting experience
d. Reported claims made by the diet
e. The /sitives!nd ¥gatives/f the diet based things you learned from class material
f. Solid explanation of )eting4ruths and myths
g. Thumbs up or down 7ould you recommend it if someone asked you?
