Do you believe that a business organization has a responsibility towards citizenship and global /societal issues? The focus of this week will be on an organization’s responsibilities beyond “typical” business responsibilities and ethics. Use your Organizational Ethics text to complete the following, which will inform this week’s unit discussion, and will also help you complete your Unit 9 assignment:

• Chapter 11, “Promoting Sustainable Organizational Citizenship,” pages 349ó80, focuses on the role organizations should play in local and national communities. It describes what it means for an organization to act as a citizen and strategies to play this role.
• Chapter 12, “Ethics in a Global Society,” pages 381ô13, examines the benefits and dangers of globalization. It describes what it means to act as global citizens and the responsibility of organizations to take a larger role in solving the world’s social problems.?
