1) Copy and paste your target population from the Background and Rationale practice assignment (if you are sticking with that population – it’s okay to change).

2) From the textbook and / or additional research, list 3-5 barriers to physical activity common to this population.  For each barrier listed, briefly explain why this barrier is prevalent in this population. Please use numbers or bullets to list each barrier and itàexplanation.

3) Using 3 secondary sources about physical activity in your chosen population, list 3-5 things an intervention needs to include if it is to successfully increase physical activity in this population. For each item identified, explain how it meets the needs of the population. For example, does it address a common preference in this population, does it help to reduce a barrier common to this population, is it a factor related to success in a previous intervention, etc. and how?

4) Cite your sources used.
