Description
Candidates will assess the online safety, ethical, and legal practices of their context. This deliverable requires the candidate to evaluate multiple identifiers related to online safety in context. Candidates will complete an online safety inventory related to the safety practices of their school and classroom. Candidates will assess the degree of current strength/weakness for each element. Based on this contextual assessment, students will then research and review appropriate responses on at least one identified issue. The materials reviewed will be used to support a justification on the need for a response for this issue in context.

decision was made. The rationale for each component should be justified with supporting information and/or
research/resources. Use APA formatting as appropriate.
Goal Definition
Get clear on what you want to achieve with your plan for your context. First, define where your context currently
stands and why you identified it as such.
Second, define where you want your context to be. If you identify multiple methods to achieve your goal, assess
your situation and decide the best chances of success depending on your resources.
List Tasks
Once you define your goal, list all relevant tasks and activities you must complete to achieve it. Order them
sequentially and add key deadlines. These can be by the month or week, they do not have to be by specific dates.
Are there any steps that must be completed before others can start? These are critical tasks with dependencies.
Prioritize these tasks and set realistic deadlines. If you plan to discuss them with stakeholders or get buy-in to the
plan from colleagues and/or administration, be sure to let them know the dependencies.
Assign Tasks
Now the project is broken down, you can start assigning tasks. Will you be handling some yourself or will you bring
in colleagues/admin? Make sure you allocate time and human resources carefully 9ou may choose to delegate or
outsource specific tasks. While this is a plan for this course, ideally you should plan to implement this within your
context to resolve the identified issues. Plan accordingly.
Assessment
How will you know if you are successful? Develop an assessment scenario for your action plan. These assessments
can be formal or informal. The can be conducted by you or by someone else. A good assessment plan will likely
include evaluations of each key task.
