Keiser University Business Discussion

In my research I have discovered pretty much what I had imagined to find. We hear so much in the news and mostly when it is time to elect a new President spewing off about climate change, the glaciers melting etc. I myself do not believe it to be as drastic and doomsdayish as the politicians and news media would have some of the population believe. Not long ago I was flipping channels and came across a discussion on how the Colorado River has gone down noticeably over the last few years, and with the growth and development in the area there may not be enough water to power the electricity. Maybe just maybe they shouldn’t build so many houses next to the water or cut down the forests that supply our oxygen. I mean everywhere you look these days all you see are more and more housing developments, and less and less farms or forests. Here in Manatee County where I live, there is a place called Lakewood Ranch. It is built in what used to be a rural area where cattle grazed, farming was done and wildlife roamed. One of the local news channels did a story of how people in Lakewood Ranch were waking up to hogs rooting in their yards and gardens. They really did not know why, well you took their house they have to go somewhere. My point is, the results that I saw about climate change/global warming was really not as dramatic of a difference and is mostly because of humans.
