Social workers frequently encounter high-risk situations that could bring harm to clients,
agencies, and social workers themselves. As social workers encounter complex cases, ethical
dilemmas present themselves when social work values may conflict. It is essential that social
workers act in accordance with social work values, principles, and standards related to many
