Meet with your certified K-12 mentor teacher to identify a learning objective that the whole class or a small group of students are struggling with based on student data. Discuss the form of assessment used and the results which prompted reteaching. Assist your mentor in planning the next steps for ensuring all students demonstrate understanding.

NOTE: Develop an authentic assessment for this concept in Topic 3 and implement it with a small group or the whole class in Topic 4.

Additionally, observe or help implement a lesson created by your mentor with the small group or the whole class. Gather initial observation data regarding your student population.

Use the remaining field experience hours to assist the teacher in providing instruction and support to the class.
