In the recorded lecture by the Genetic Dietitian there are numerous inborn errors of metabolism and
genetic issues mentioned. For this paper you will choose one of those and prepare a short paper on it. It
should include the following information:
Introduction to the condition, including prevalence and diagnosis.
Explanation of more of the specific of the condition. How does it impact those with it? What are some
signs and symptoms?
What (if any) nutrition concerns do these patients have? Special diets? Foods to avoid? Foods that are
needed in greater quantity.
