After a packed week (midterm etc.), lets put a lighter topic you can do a response post to.
What are your favorite finance/investment movies and why?
The Big Short | Wall St | Margin Call are a few that come to mind.
When Wall St came out in 1987 (or was it 1988?) I feel like a lot of people decided they wanted to go work on Wall Street.
The Big Short did a pretty good job of explaining the 2008 Recession and the blowup in housing. Margin call was a more nuanced movie but hinted at some ways those risks were outside of many mathematical risk models or Value at Risk.
So just give some of your favorites and why?
