Slide 1: PARTNERS. WHO will help you get the intervention done? Do you need students to help organize? Health care professionals to volunteer? Web designers to donate time. This is about the manpower to get it done!

Slide 2 POLICY:  What policies impact your area of health interest? For example, smoking laws or helmet laws would be policies. FDA food guides are policies. School guides are policies . You must mention something as public health measures always have something.  DO NOT say “there is nothing”. If you cant think of anything, just Google “government initiatives for..(your problem)” or “laws relating to (your problem)” or “policy relating to  (your problem)”  . I guarantee there is something. Not sure? Inbox me.

Slide 3 FUNDING: How will you pay for your program? Can you think of a creative way to get money? Think of a company that is synergystic.  For example, you could ask pharmaceutical companies u to help fund drug prevention or treatment programs. Does a company want goodwill? (A liquor company donating to sex-ed is creative. A candy company donating to dental clinics is creative.  )

Just naming social media companies is not creative unless there is a specific synergy you describe. You will NOT get full credit if you just say things like “TikTok”. An example where TikTok would be ok is if say, for example, it was a campaign to help kids decrease screen time. 

If you are asking for public funds you must show how could you lobby a legislator to pay for it. Is their state losing money on the problem? Convince them that spending some money up front will save money on the problem. 

HINT: Dont just say “I will get a grant from HP 2020” since that wont work! DONT COUNT ON GOVERNMENT SOURCES AS THAT MONEY IS HARD TO GET. Do not name other Non-Profits or Schools or Hospitals-they don’t give away money either, they need it themselves. Think of commercial sources.
