Ancient Art, Your Way
For this assignment you can earn up to four points towards
your grade by ¥creating(in the widest possible sense of the
word: use your imagination, be creative, get funky) any single
work of art from any single slide I have shown or will show in
our course. You may interpret this assignment using any
medium you choose.
Here are the rules:
1.) A PICTURE IS WORTH 1000 WORDS:
You can do a 3-D project or a 2-D project, digital or analog, in
any artistic medium. But because we are running virtually this
term, you, have to submit a picture of whatever you do. If your
recreation was digital to start with, this should be easy. If you
choose to work with any physical media, you will need to
submit a good snapshot of it rather than the work itself.
2.) THIS ASSIGNMENT IS FAMILY-FRIENDLY:
All submissions must be rated Ô for ALL AUDIENCES.
Despite the R-rated content of much ancient art, your recreated
work of art should be Disney-level appropriate for young
children. Specifically, no nudity or illegal or dangerous activities
will be accepted for credit. You may involve others (safely!) if
you wish!
3.) WHAT TO DO:
First, cut the original picture from the slide and paste it into this
assignment.
That way, I know what you¥ working from.
Second, cut and paste a picture of your recreation below it.
That way, I can see them both éde-by-side7ithout having to
click on anything else.
Third, type a few sentences at the bottom about what you liked
about doing your project.
That way, I know what you want me to see.

4.) WHATàTHE DEADLINE:
Complete your project and enter the final draft of the
assignment (see #3 above) here as text and image (not
attachment) directly into iLearn by midnight at the end of the
day on December 16th, 2022.
5.) HOW MUCH CREDIT CAN I EARN:
The completed assignment itself is worth four percent of your
final grade.
