Learning Journal
Each week/unit, you are required to complete two Learning Journal activities:
1) Maintain a Learning Journal Record (of your accomplishments during the week). Learning Journal Record entries must be brief, direct sentences indicating:
-Date when students have completed each step in the Learning Guide
-A record of research for additional materials used in the studentàstudies (the Internet, libraries)
-Any problems or unexpected events that occurred during the week
-Any other noteworthy points
2) Respond to a given Learning Journal Task. This Unit’s task is: In three complete and well-composed paragraphs, describe PDF files and HTML. Explain the difference between presenting information in both formats. In what instances would a PDF file be preferable? In what instances would HTML be a preferred format?
Note: Please post as a 2aft!nd submit only when completed, at the end of the Unit. The Learning Journal forms part of the formal final grade and is intended to help students organize, consolidate and record their thoughts, activities and accomplishments. It is also allows the course Instructor to get a sense of how a student is progressing and what he/she has done beyond the mandatory assignments.
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to E-Commerce! Please read and familiarize yourself with the syllabus and with the materials included for week #1. Please also reach out to your classmates and introduce yourself %ven if you know each other from another course 3ay hello and catch-up with each other.
There will be a number of different textbooks for this course, to be used depending on the weekàtopic. Most of the reading assignments are of a reasonable length and provide current insights into each topic.
This weekàreading provides an introduction to and the background of, the subject of doing business using the internet, especially in the area of inbound marketing.
