Bellevue College Washington Writing Across Media Discussion
Question Description
I’m working on a internet research question and need a sample draft to help me learn.
For this weekàdiscussion board, please write three leads about things going on in the news or on campus or in your own personal life.
I want you to get used to creating leads quickly. In fact, most reporters are thinking about the lead while they are interviewing or even watching an event take place. Remember, a lead needs to tell as many as are possible of the five Wàand sometimes /w.
any times, a publication prints a lead, but a competing publication prints the lead with the answer to the why or how. When that happens, the other publication that did not have the why or how will lose readers. The readers want to know as much of the story as possible. So try to have a full and healthy lead, it will draw readers in and set the tone for your whole story.
