Follow this link to down and install the Developer edition of Microsoft SQL Server
2019: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/sql-server/sql-server-downloadsLinks to an
external site.
Before installing, make sure that your computer meets the requirements for SQL Server
2019. Search for the Microsoft page ÑL Server 2019: Hardware and software
requirements4o find out.
Be sure to also install either of the following two SQL Server tools:

Azure Data Studio (ADS): azure-data-studio-download-pageLinks to an
external site.
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS): SSMS-setup-fileLinks to an external
site.
1. After successfully installing the application, open ADS and connect to the newly
installed SQL Server engine.
2. For each of the attached SQL scripts, TSQLV4 (TSQLV4-1.sql Download TSQLV41.sql) and TSQLV5 (TSQLV5.sql Download TSQLV5.sql):

Copy and paste it into your ADS query editor.
Execute the script to create the database with its respective tables.
3. Upload a screen shot of your ADS, with the Object Explorer showing that you have
successfully created the two databases.

2. Go to your download folder and copy the downloaded files.
3. Navigate to your SQL Server instance backup folder and paste them, typically like
this:

ServerMSSQL15.MSSQLSERVER05MSSQLBackup
4. We will demonstrate how to restore this file through SSMS in class.
5. Upload a screenshot showing you have successfully restored the three databases.
