Add up your scores for all 17 items. My total emotional intelligence score is ___________. If

you scored 755, you probably are very emotionally intelligent, someone who is emotionally

self-aware, manages emotions effectively, knows how to read emotions, and has positive

relationships with others. If you scored 65ô, you probably have good emotional intelligence

but there probably are some areas on which you still need to work. Look at the items on which

you scored 3 or below to see where you need to improve. If you scored 45´, you likely have

average emotional intelligence. Give some serious thought to working on your emotional life.

Examine your emotional weaknesses and strive to improve them. If you scored 44 or below,

you likely have below-average emotional intelligence. You might contact the counseling service

at your college for some recommendations.
