1. Prepare your presentation using bullet points.  Do      not submit paragraphs of information.
2. The patient’s background must support the screening and      treatment.   If you do not demonstrate the patient has a problem      with cannabis based on the DSM 5-TR criteria, there is no need to screen.
3. Discuss the stages of motivational interviewing and      provide details of how the techniques were used.  A transcript of      your encounter with the patient is expected.  Avoid simply      summarizing the definition of each technique.
4. Discuss the roadblocks used or those avoided. 
5. Discuss the patient’s stage of change.
