She was put on the cardiacmonitor and was found to be in Atrial Fibrillation with Rapid Ventricular Response (RVR). She wasadmitted to the cardiac telemetry unit for cardioversion. Shortly after admission, she developed facialdroop, aphasia, dysphagia, and right sided weakness. She was diagnosed with an ischemic CVA. She wasstabilized, placed on anticoagulants, and started rehabilitation. Due to her continued inability toswallow she had a PEG tube inserted and was receiving ATC tube feedings.
