ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
The purpose of this assignment is for the student to address and analyze the steel aspects
pertaining to one of the provided structural events. The student will first create the written paper
and will then create a presentation based on the outline from the paper.
INSTRUCTIONS
research the steel aspects pertaining to the circumstances surrounding that structure/event:
1. Sept. 11, 2001 collapse of the World Trade Center.
This assignment will include both a written and oral presentation component. Items to include in
each component are outlined as follows:

or abstract.
The paper must be supported by a minimum of 3 scholarly resources. Wikipedia and
similar resources are prohibited.
