First, choose a term from our course material on which to create your post.  So there’s no confusion, I have them separated into Italian and Northern Renaissance topics:

Italian Renaissance:

• Humanism in the Italian Renaissance
• Classicism 
• Fresco
• Contrapposto
• Linear perspective
• Atmospheric perspective

Northern Renaissance:

• Humanism in the Northern Renaissance
• Oil paint
• Iconography
• Triptych

Next, find an artwork from a legitimate source – Smarthistory.org, or museum websites such as the Metropolitan, Louvre, Norton Simon, Getty, or Uffizi, just to name a few – that helps to visually illustrate your chosen term.

This artwork should be:

• from the ages of the Early Renaissance (about 1380-1490)
• Any medium that you choose: painting, sculpture, or architecture

Once you have found your artwork, construct your post:

• Thoroughly explain the term you chose.
• Explain the artwork you chose, including describing the subject matter (or the function if you are discussing a work of architecture), and how you can visually see your chosen term.
• Discuss why your chosen term is important to Renaissance art.
• Complete your post with a few personal reflections on the topic.
