Meeting with one of the people at the fair, and his concerns were that he gained 20lbs over the
course of the COVID Pandemic. He explains how he has been unable to participate in activities,
not going to the gym, not going out in public, eating junk food, etc. His weight was his biggest
concern. He explains how he has hypertension and diabetes and needs the use of better resources
to prevent any measures of problematic issues. The main concern of it all was his weight. A
suggestion was to set him up with individuals at the fair and have a conversation about what the
resources are. He explains how he enjoys nature depending on weather conditions, gym
memberships, if possible. Another suggestion is setting up a first goal, within how many months
would he like to lose weight? 2 months? 5 months?
The person also explained how he felt isolated and disengaged from his family and peers. His
closest family is his neighbor. He still feels unsafe about going out to be around people who are
not vaccinated, unlike him.
