SQ4R Article Report
Purpose: Knowing how to read to gather information is essential to being
successful in college. You will need to master reading textbooks, research articles, assignment
instructions, peers7riting, and many other forms of writing. By reading an article of your choosing
using SQ4R, you will practice the techniques discussed in class, and demonstrate your ability to gather
information by writing a short report. The report may be 1 page or less, give a summary of the article,
be formatted using Arial or Times New Roman and single or double spacing.
Knowledge: This assignment will also help you to become familiar with these important concepts:

pplying knowledge gained in strategic ways

emembering, Understanding, Applying, Analyzing, Evaluating, and Creating

Task: Completing these steps in order will guide you to successfully completing this assignment.

? Use those notes to write a rough draft of your report. Make sure to include:
