Following up on what you learned in chapters 1 and 2 of Knowledge Management in Organizations, answer the following:
- Discuss the distinctions between data, information, and knowledge.
- Which, if any, is most important, and why, from a management and business perspective

- Think about an example of partially explicit knowledge you are familiar with, for example, a set of instructions for how to conduct a certain task. What tacit knowledge is necessary for you to make sense of them? What does this say about the inseparability of tacit and explicit knowledge?
2. Think about interactions you have had with people of different nationalities. Have there been examples from these interactions where peopleàcontrasting understandings of the same phenomenon have revealed the socially constructed and culturally embedded nature of knowledge?
3. Compare the two perspectives on knowledge outlined in Chapters 2 and 3. Which one more closely models the nature of knowledge in the organizations that you have worked in?
