Abstract- HIV/AIDS
The problem addressed is HIV/AIDS. This group is considered vulnerable because HIV-related stigma, discrimination, and a fear of familial and/or social rejectionán contribute to impaired development in all areas and adversely affect HIV treatment and clinical outcomes contributing to vulnerability. Young adults with HIV negatively affect their HIV treatment, including limited familial and/or social support, lack of health insurance and/or experience with health care systems, unstructured and chaotic lifestyles, transportation barriers, food insecurity, limited educational opportunities, limited employment opportunities and/or unstable employment, and a history of trauma and/or sexual abuse (Rector & Stanley, 2022, p.608-670). The theory guiding my project is the patient-centered care approach as a conceptual framework. It involves considering people’s goals, principles, relationships, social contexts, and lifestyles; recognizing each person as an individual; and cooperating to create effective solutions. The methods used for data collection were electronic databases CINAHL and Medline for peer-reviewed journals within 5 years. The final recommendation will be to focus on prevention/protection, detection, education, treatment, and support.

Vulnerable Population
ABSTRACT
Domestic violence, also referred to as Intimate partner violence, is an epidemic in the United States. Many women find themselves in unhealthy and physically abusive relationships that usually start out as emotional, psychological, economic, or financial abuse. Women in abusive relationships often face significant challenges when seeking quality care. Many women who are physically abused often will refuse to seek medical treatment out of embarrassment of being judged for not leaving, fear of getting their abuser in trouble or making their abuser more upset, and if she has a child or children, she is at risk of losing her children if child protective services get involved. Domestic violence victims suffering from injuries will often refuse medical help because of the implications and risks. The lack of safety, support, and resources for victims of domestic violence create health disparities that can have fatal consequences.
