Predict and back test monthly anti-diabetic drug sales in Australia. Use the data we used in class.
Back test 12 month forecasts for 4 periods – July 2004-June 2005, July 2005-June 2006, July 2006-June 2007, July 2007-June 2008
Run multiple ETS and ARIMA models and evaluate them over the backtest periods.
Create a plot to efficiently show how the various models performed against the test data points in the back test periods.
Based on the backtesting results, mention which ONE model would you use to predict the next 12 months and why?
