QUESTION 1:

For your homework assignment, we will use the data displayed within example 11.6 on page 203-204 of your text.

For this assignment asks you to identify categories to represent the patient’s ages.  (remember, an age cannot be in more than one category).  To appropriately display this, I would make sure you have at least 6 categories.  It is acceptable to use the < and > for the lowest threshold and highest threshold.  Once you have the categories, then you can identify the number of patients that have a desirable, borderline or high cholesterol level.  (NOTE: These are not the steps listed under the data table so please be sure to use the information in this paragraph only)

Submit your table as either a word document table or an excel spreadsheet.  Please use borders to help me review the various categories. Don’t forget to label your table.  Use our naming conventions for your document before you upload it to the submission are.

QUESTION 2:

Complete the components in Exercise 11.3 on page 224.  For #1 a-d, explain why you chose a graph or a table for each of these data points.  Question 2 requires you to review and consider the provided table. For 3-4, create a graph for each illustrating the provided data; do not draw a graph, use Excel to create the graph.

Each graph and table should be labeled appropriately to facilitate review.   Be mindful there are 4 components – if you use a separate document for each you will need to submit 4 different attachments in this submission area (all need to be submitted at the same time)
